The "Albacore" or "Thunnus Alalunga" is caught, one by one, in the waters of the Bay of Biscay during the summer coastal season and using traditional fishing gear. Its intense sea flavor, its clear flesh and its properties have made it, without a doubt, the king of tunas. Once the best specimens have been selected and the cooking process has passed, the fish is prepared and packaged using artisanal techniques. The skill and experience acquired over five generations is part of Serrats secret to achieving the exceptional appearance and flavor, of tasty and appetizing white meat, that our preserves boast.
To make this jar of tuna we use the loins of the Bonito. Once they are perfectly clean, one by one, they are placed in the glass jar completely manually. The olive oil, with its intense flavor, adds an exclusive aroma and flavor to Bonito, a delicious contrast between the flavor of the sea and that of the sun-dried land.
Due to its size, this bottle is recommended for individual consumption or as an accompaniment.
